Frequently asked questions
Is the mangrove tour suitable for kids and elderly?
Yes. This tour is very family-friendly and safe for all ages, including young children and senior citizens.
Does the boat have a roof?
Yes, the boat is covered on top to protect you from sun and light rain.
However, if it rains heavily, it’s similar to being in a car without a front windscreen (only the roof is covered). See photos above for reference.
What happens if it rains?
Rain is normal in Langkawi and the tour can continue safely. We only postpone if there is a storm or thunderstorm. You can reschedule to another time or day—just inform us.
Is it hot on the boat?
Not at all. You won’t even sweat. When the boat moves, the mangrove breeze is cool and the views are relaxing.
How about insurance and safety?
We recommend having personal travel insurance when traveling.
To operate on the water, all our boats and captains follow Marine Department regulations and are regularly monitored for safety.
Is there storage for bags or luggage?
Sorry, there is no storage available. We advise not to bring luggage to the jetty. Personal belongings are the guest’s own responsibility.
